| Overview of work undertaken by Bradford Carnival in 2006 | |||
Over 1,000 people will be parading in costume and celebrating in the Carnival Show at Avenue Road Playing Fields. Over 36 schools and community organisations participated in a European carnival community context. Participants were involved in Costume making, carnival dance, and the process as a whole. Given the amount of work that goes into making the Carnival a success, our aim this year is to develop the management base that is robust enough to provide a tracking system that will enable us to build a stronger management committee and infrastructure for the future.
