has been created to highlight the cultural arts
events and activities by a number of district-wide African-Caribbean
organisations. The aim is to create a one-stop portal for information
and to bridge the gap between individuals who might be interested
in accessing information about cultural celebrations and the organisations
delivering the events.
This
website has been funded by Bradford Council’s Innovation Fund.
The Frontline Initiative acts as the host organisation but the website
development is informed by a partnership made up of existing community/voluntary
organisations providing services and activities for the African
and African Caribbean community, although not exclusively.
The ultimate
aim of the site is to provide a virtual one stop shop for individuals
wishing to find out what events and activities are taking place
within their community and surrounding areas. The website will be
promoted as such and it is envisaged that it become the first point
of contact for anyone wishing to access information relevant to
them.
It is your site
and its success relies on you accessing it and sharing information.
Feedback on how we are developing will be always be welcomed. |
