Pan-African Cultural Association


The Pan African Arts and Cultural Group was formed in 1995 with the aim of creating and promoting African and African-Caribbean culture and arts for the benefit of the community.The Group promotes cultural aspects from all the 53 African nations and is the only such community centre in Yorkshire & Humberside.

Our drumming and dance group perform at various events throughout the country using authentic instruments made of natural African materials and wearing authentic, handmade African dress.Our artists are trained to professional standards and also pass on their skills to the community through African drumming workshops at local festivals or in schools and community centres throughout Yorkshire and Humberside.

     

Pan African Arts & Cultural Group offers a course in African & African-Caribbean Cookery which is accredited by the Open College Network to NVQ levels 2 & 3. It is the only course of its kind in Europe.
