The Frontline Initiative

Are holding weekly workshops and activities for an inter-generational culturally diverse community in and around Manningham, but also district-wide.

Ongoing Projects include:
Weekly African-Caribbean History study groups in partnership with Agwamba Services on Mondays
Weekly Urban Dance Classes, by Cleo from Unique Flava, are held on Wednesdays
Weekly Keep-Fit sessions are hosted on Friday evenings. In August Frontline Initiative will launch it’s website, to celebrate Jamaican Independence and regular updates will be posted there.

We provide a community centre with activities for the local community with particular focus on young African-Caribbean people and children. We have a crèche, play schemes throughout school holidays, after-school homework club, ESOL classes, music workshops and an ICT Cyber Café amongst other things. Annually we hold a Family day in August and a Christmas Dinner event.
