This
year FACE have worked in partnership with Bradford Carnival
to provide costumes and paraders for Bradford Carnival 24th
June 2006.
FACE provides day care services to African-Caribbean older people
with the aim of combating isolation & loneliness. We open
Tues – Thurs 10.30am until 3.30pm and provide the following:
Healthy Luncheon Club, Computers & Internet training, Food
Co-op, Tai-Chi exercise classes, Arts & Crafts, Health Promotions,
Advocay & Advice, Social & Cultural Trips and volunteering
opportunities. FACE also operates an elderly hospital &
home visiting scheme, organises conferences & seminars and
publish a quarterly newsletter.
Although we don’t have any specific annual events,
we celebrate most Christian events. FACE celebrates it’s
20 year anniversary celebrations at City Hall 11.00am –
3.00pm on 21st October 2005.
